Dr. Kelley McVarish, Chiropractor

Dr. Kelley McVarish is the creator and owner of Restore Health & Sport. She holds a Doctorate in Chiropractic from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Originally from Sydney, Nova Scotia, she graduated from Cape Breton University with a Bachelor of Science, Honours Biology. Dr. McVarish is a professional member of the Nova Scotia College of Chiropractors and the Canadian Chiropractic Association.

Dr. McVarish's goal is to get patients moving better and feeling their best. To do this, she takes a functional, biopsychosocial approach to treatment because issues in one area of the body can often have unintended consequences on other areas of the body. It’s because of this that she provides a full-body assessment for all new clients. Her treatments aim to resolve her patients’ current issues while providing education on how to prevent re-aggravation of the affected areas.

Dr. McVarish is passionate about treating runners, prenatal and postpartum women, and patients with foot issues. With each of her patients, she employs a combination of muscle work, exercise, acupuncture, gait analysis, kinesiology taping, motor control retraining and adjustments when necessary.

Aside from her passion for her job, Dr. McVarish enjoys running, golfing and spending time with her husband and three children.
